A NOTE FROM ATRANDOM :

The Netherlands's legendary poster culture is an outward and often outspoken visual expression of a renowned “designer’s utopia.” These posters display cultural and commercial information to the public, but with a standard of design sophistication that reflect cultural conditions that are uniquely Dutch. This collection encapsulates a transitioning period of poster design that has taken place in the Netherlands between 1988 and 2008.

A supplemental publication will include In-depth interviews with each designer, revealing influences behind their work, their perspectives on poster culture in the U.S., as well as the recent cultural developments that may spell a fading poster culture in Holland.

Hope to see you there!
